FAQ CARPET BINDING
Do you offer a pick up and return service?
Yes, we do offer this service. Our team are out and about daily completing pick-ups and return deliveries and for a fee, we provide this service taking the hassle off you in both time and struggling to get it into your car. Find out more about this service.
Can you handle large pieces of carpet?
Yes we can, a handing fee will apply to pieces larger than 2m x 3m
For larger pieces please contact us to discuss your requirements?
Do you handle older used pieces of carpet?
Yes we can, but it is at our discretion. All pieces must be cleaned first for health and safety reasons.

Can you alter axminster carpet to suit my needs?
Are you able to bind loose lay mats for caravans
Yes, we can, for this. However, it is important for you to call us.
Can you join carpet pieces together?
Yes we can, whilst we are not professional carpet layers we can join your carpet together and will discuss with you the best way to make the join unobtrusive from the carpet supplied.
How long does it take to have my carpet bound?
Can you bind my rugs while I wait?
Yes, this is our express service. We can do while we wait or within a 30-minute turn-around dependant on factory workflow. We ask that you contact us to arrange a date and time and we can slot you in for this service.
There is no additional charge for our express service. We are happy to work in with you given prior notification.
Can drop off my carpet for binding when you are not there?
Yes, please call us for instructions.

What types of payment do you take?
We take all types or forms of payment, cash, EFTPOS, pay wave and accept all major credit cards. You can also pay online directly into our nominated bank account.
What is the parking like at your workshop?
Parking at our workroom is easy and free; there is plenty of space, and you can park right at the door. Our team is happy to take your carpet scraps from your car and return your finished carpet mats to your car as part of our friendly customer service.
If you are coming to Christchurch with a trailer because you have a large carpet piece to pick up or drop off and have other errands to run. You are most welcome to leave your trailer at Tradesmens Village and we will keep an eye on it for you.
Will you contact me when my mats are completed?
Yes, we are proactive in contacting you when the binding jobs are completed. We advise you the day that the job will be completed, usually 48 hours from drop off, we will send a text you a text reminder as well.
