ABOUT US
A little bit of history about us
The original company was established in 1973 in Christchurch and has seen many changes in the carpet edging industry and reinvented itself to move with the times. Today, as we enter our 50th year, our mission is still to provide our customers with high-quality carpet edging and binding services with a personal touch. However, now our vision is to be the leading supplier of carpet edging solutions in New Zealand. And now, you know more about us, let’s talk in the present day.
Living in the present and the Carpet Binders team today
Carpetbinders has evolved and grown over the decades, and today we offer our clients a variety of binding options, each with its own unique benefits, while always maintaining our focus on customer service. Our team is diverse and inclusive, and we are proud to have a workplace where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves, be it their ethnic background, disability, or age. We are committed to providing our clients with carpet edging solutions that meet their needs, and we look forward to continuing to serve them with our positive can-do attitude for many years to come.
The Carpetbinders team has an active interest in sustainability and conservation. We recycle plastic products where appropriate, for early learning education facilities and support the Kaiapoi East Residents Association in their pocket forest initiative, donating plant mats for moisture protection and providing labour for their planting days.
