WOOL BINDING OR SERGING OR OVERLOCKING

This is a more chunky finish using a woollen yarn in a blanket stitch format and defines the border of the rug.

This is the most popular edging finish for a home or office.

Slimline Tape Binding

With many different carpet finishes and styles being available for tailored area rugs on hard floors - such as concrete, tiled or wooden - we have a selection of edging finishes to choose from.

We now offer

• The 3cm wide slimline tape producing a 1.5 cm visible hem. This is recommended for the more solid or chunky loop pile or thick push pile carpets as the preferred tape edging. Described as a sleek minimalist finish.

This is our second most popular finish for the home or office. 

Carpet Tape Binding  7.5 cm

This binding tape when used gives a 3.5cm border to the finished area rug.

Our area rugs give a soft, cozy feel to otherwise uninviting hard floors. We are able to take quality carpet and have it tailored to your precise requirements, with an edging finish that will complete your room's flooring.

The 7.5 cm carpet binding tape produces a 3.5cm visual edge, we are now able to offer two types of stitching finishes with the stitching exposed or blind stitched. 

We also offer both folded corners and mitered corners. 

With four combination options at four different price points, this allows you the flexibility in the edging finish to absolutely tailor your area rug to suit your decor within your budget.

The 12.5 cm carpet binding tape produces a 6.cm visual edge, we are now able to offer two types of stitching finishes with the stitching exposed or blind stitched.

Woollen Fringing and Tassel Finish

Carpet Binders can add a gorgeous woollen fringe or tassel edge to any rug. This adds another dimension to the finishing touches when entering a room.

We also are often called upon to given new life to a much-loved rug that has had a fringe that has seen better days.  In the rug recovery process we often rebind the edges at the same time. Therefore the patterned rug can continue to bring pleasure to its owners for another decade or two.
