Carpet Binders offers a selection of wide tape border finishes in high quality American heavy cotton. This can be for customers wishing to add a wider border to their carpet square.

This bespoke carpet edging finish reflects decades of specialized craftsmanship, resulting in a durable and aesthetically refined area rug.

We use a herringbone woven tape to give a unique and stunning zig-zag appearance creating a beautiful finish to your carpet.

The herringbone weave tape has a unique V pattern running through it. This adds a decorative border for either plain or patterned carpets.

The imported heavy cotton herringbone weave tape has been selected for durability and drape ability. It should not be confused with cheaper jute tapes which fade faster than cotton.

This type of tape is 12.5cm wide and folded to give a 5.5cm border.

We offer two types of wide tape finishes

1) has a topstitch with straight folded corners.

2) is a blind stitch with mitered corners. 

The skill required  for the blind stitch mitered corners is reflected in the pricing. 

Carpet Binders can edge 5 x 4 metres in this finish, so size is not a problem.
