Trade Slimline Tape Binding Standard

As of 1 April 2023, trade slimline tape binding standard for all chunky loop pile or thick plush pile carpets.

These thicker pile carpets are not suited to the narrow tape binding, and their durability of not fraying or pulling away from the edge is compromised. Slimline tape is fit for edging the designer heavier-weight carpets.

We will only edge these carpets in a slimline finish, please advise your customer of this at the time of quoting. This will mitigate any potential customer blowback for poor workmanship and unhappy customers.
