COVID-19 VISITATION MANAGEMENT POLICY

COVID-19 VISITATION MANAGEMENT POLICY

From 3 December 2021, the New Zealand Government introduced its COVID-19 Protection Framework (CPF) as a means of providing a structured approach to enable businesses and its staff and clients to undertake their usual activities as normally as possible whilst minimising the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please take your time to read the Covid 19 policy on this page carefully to be 100% safe.

New Zealand is currently operating under the Orange level of the CPF – used when there is increasing community transmission of COVID-19, the health system has focused its resources but can manage the outbreak, and there is an increasing risk to the public.

  • Because of this increased risk to the public, and our concern for the health and well-being of our clients, staff and visitors, Carpetbinders Ltd has assessed our practice as being a “close-contact business” due to the way we meet with clients and the amount of time spent in close proximity, and has accordingly adopted the following policy for all visitors to our workroom.:
      • All visitors, including contractors, to the Carpetbinders workroom are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a current My Vaccine Pass.
      • Scan our COVID-19 QR code using the COVID-19 contact tracing app we also offer a manual signing-in as a visitor if a customer feels more comfortable doing this at the Orange alert level.
      • It is not compulsory under alert level Orange to scan into our workroom.
      • A face mask is to be worn at all times while on-site;  and
Social distancing protocols of at least 1 metre are to be observed.
      • This policy also applies to staff making off-site visits and requires that any person that our staff is meeting with is fully vaccinated, wears a face mask, and observes the social distancing protocols.

What this means for you

When arranging an appointment, our staff will enquire if you are fully vaccinated, and we respectfully ask that you confirm if you are or not.

If you are not fully vaccinated or are not willing to provide your vaccination status, we will seek to arrange an alternative to have your binding completed. We have developed alternative methods for you to use our services.

1) We have a standalone dropoff site with no face-to-face contact. It is the silver shed in our complex. We will provide directions for you on how to use it.

2) Using our pick-up and return delivery service. We do not have to meet you in person.

Our staff are all fully vaccinated and supported by vaccine passes. We have implemented this policy because we believe that, at this time, it is the most appropriate way we can provide a safe workplace for our staff and visitors, and how we safely move into an environment with fewer restrictions for businesses, our communities and each of us personally.

We will continue to update and review our policy as the situation around COVID-19 evolves.

We take this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation as we implement this new policy. We acknowledge this has been a challenging time for many and look forward to continuing our work with you as we look towards the future.

Use our convenient pick-up and return delivery service or drop your carpet scraps off at our workshop located at Unit 14, No 37 Washbournes Rd, Sockburn  Christchurch.
